The Starters

I knew who LeBron was, I knew who Kobe was, even from the young age of like you're shooting a paper in the trashcan, you yell, "Kobe," and everything.

But then also, uh, seventh or eighth grade was Giannis' rookie year, and I followed this show that was on NBA TV called The Starters, and they are now a podcast called No Dunks Incorporated.

Um, th- they're a great podcast, highly recommend.

Um, but one of their co-hosts, Tass Melas, is Greek, so he was teaching people how to properly pronounce Giannis' name, and as like an 11, 12-year-old at the middle school lunch table, that was such a huge flex of being able to be like, "I can pronounce and spell this guy's name."

Yeah.

Uh, one thing I was confused by was after being on our YouTube station where we're playing 24/7 old No Dunks slash The Basketball Jones slash the starters highlights, why we didn't have Giannis Antetokounmpo's shoes off when I measured his height.

Hmm.

Right, way back in the day.
