The only son of Cindy Crawford and Randy Gerber dies at 27.

His sister, Kaya Gerber, just had a very successful show on TV, a series, I think it's a 12-part series called The Shards, based on Brent Easton Ellis' novel The Shards.

It was pretty good.

It was okay.

It's all over the news and nobody cares.

It was a really, really good read.

The other book I read more recently, right over my vacation a week and a half ago, up in the mountains in upstate New York, was, weirdly, The Shards by Bret Easton Ellis.

I've actually never read Ellis.

We do, which we don't normally have.

Yeah, we don't normally, but first any other business is The Shards on the TV.

Because as you know, if you listen to this pod, we both loved the book The Shards by Brett Easton Ellis.

I am not yet watching because I think I'm going to have to pay my physical money to access it via Disney.

I recently finished the book, uh, a book I selected for my work book club, which has been so much fun to-

That's, like, twice my, uh, word count.

So I don't blame him for being like, "Could you, could you, like, back off a little bit?" Um, but I've written plenty of words on The Shards, and you can read them.

Um, I mostly just wanted Dane to be like, "The book is great."

Prime Video is rolling out Scarpetta, bringing Nicole Kidman in as the iconic gritty medical examiner chasing serial killers.

And then FX is adapting Bret Easton Ellis' deeply unsettling horror novel, The Shards, with Ryan Murphy.

It is a gauntlet of anxiety.

It really is.
