The Savages: Episode 4

As I said, I only found out the truth of what happened, that Bill was responsible for me being in a major television series at the age of 26. having grown a beard i arrived at the rehearsal room again for the final episode of the chase three weeks later and played stephen taylor a space pilot from the future earth and when the episode was aired no one commented on the fact that i was the same actor who had been such a twerp as morton dill just shows my amazing versatility i think but i really wish i'd been able to thank bill for his support in my getting the job.

I remember very clearly when Ernest Lloyd, the producer who took over from John Wiles, handed me my script for The Savages and at the same time told me they were not going to renew my contract.

I was shocked and upset.

I know I had not let the show down, and when I told Bill I was leaving at the end of the serial, he was very angry indeed.

The classic Lost Doctor Who animated story, The Savages, has finally been released on BBC Player, iPlayer.

Um, I'm now such a desperado that I think I'm gonna be starting to check out some of this animated stuff, which I never wanted to, but, 'cause I think the animation sucks, but they do have the audio recordings of the full episodes.
