Sarah Jane Smith was the sixth and final series of series for the Sarah Jane adventures.

It was written by Clayton Hickman and and Clayton Hickman and.

And directed once again by Joss Agnew.

I know that they're advertising a Sarah Jane Adventures one where the mother of one of the child actors has done a book with all their photos.

But after that, they're doing a DNA of the Sarah Jane Adventures.

Which I would definitely buy.

Barry Russell mentioned that at a previous convention earlier this year.

And I think it's a really interesting point you mentioned there about the discussion for the parents, because it's, I think it really did target that age group because you've got Sarah Jane Adventures, as you mentioned, which is aimed at the younger children.

Torchwood's obviously a lot more adult-based.

And I think class sort of sits in that middle spot, doesn't it? It's that BBC Three audience.

The director of the story is Michael Kerrigan.

This is Michael's only Doctor Who directing credit, though he did direct two stories for the Sarah Jane Adventures, The Day of the Clown and Secrets of the Stars, both which were quite good stories on Sarah Jane Adventures.

Michael passed away in 2014.

This story went through a number of working titles, including Nightfall, Storm Over Avalion, Lake Over Avalion, Pool of Avalion, Song of Avalion, and The Battlefield.

This is his final appearance in Doctor Who.

However...

He will reprise the role again in the Sarah Jane Adventures story, Enemy of the Bane.

And he has previously appeared in, and we have discussed him ad nauseum, in so many stories, I'm not going to name them all because we won't be here for a very long time.
