The Residence

It's really, really funny.

It's like a comedy, but it's also like... creepy because i'm not really a horror movie girl but it's still really good and then there's like you know i also love the murder mystery so i like the residence after party murder mystery one and two with jennifer aniston and adam sandler i like glass onion my that's one of my favorite movies of all time i love glass onion um what's another murder mystery knives out another good one uh, anyways, yeah, those are my, like, my murder mysteries, the one that I just named, that's also, like, a good spooky thing, I think my favorite murder mystery show would be After Party, I definitely recommend that, um, that's another Tiffany Haddish one, Sam Richardson, anyways, those are both really good, but let me go back to my movies, so, yes, Haunted Mansion, then it would be Twitch's, I love twitches.

I will review twitches in the future because it's such a good movie.

It's with Tia and Tamara Mallory and they're these twin witches who don't even know that they were twins until they saw each other at this sale and they're like oh my god.

So...

Highly recommend that one.

The Residence, also amazing.

The Residence is such a good murder mystery.

All right.

Now, additionally, First Watch, Re-Watch started its first episode of season four, and we're discussing The Residence, the Netflix comedy mystery show.

We did the first episode of that on the whole first episode of that one, and I can already say that I will recommend it to both of my parents, who tend to love these things.

And I'm not gonna spoil anything.

What

was the White House show you were on? The Residence.

The Residence.

I love that show.

You were in Thrones, the musical off-Broadway.

Perfect.

And we are watching The Residence, which came out last year on Netflix.

Tom chose this season.

Show with the flip of a coin on our season three finale.

And the setting is the White House, right? And pretty much anybody...

could have something to hide.

So today we are covering episode one of The Residence.

It is a limited series.

Oh, First Watch Rewatch is going to be starting a new season here, and that will be coming out on Sunday from when this records, or I guess when this drops.

So we will be discussing a new show for this upcoming season, The Residence, which was a miniseries on Netflix not too very long ago, as selected for me by my co-host on that show.

Is that the murder mystery in the White House thing? Yes,

yes.

...

I, I thought The Residence was really cute.

You know, they were trying to find out there was a murder, and they were in the White House, and, and they moved from room to room.

I thought it was clever, and, and it was, um, it, it was just really a well-done series.

So the season finale just came out.

We're gonna take our normal off week in between seasons here, and then we're gonna start up on our next show, which is The Residence, which was a miniseries on Netflix that Sarah picked for me.

Something a little bit different that isn't quite so serious.

A little bit comedic, a little bit mystery.

Starring Andre Braugher and Robert Patrick.

Then we have The Residence from 2025.

This is an American mystery comedy drama crime thriller limited television series.

Wow, there is some weird survival aspect of this?

I think what this calls for, partially because I think in order to go in a completely different vein, what I was gonna offer you at the end of this, whatever we were gonna do this next season, and when it's back for your turn in, in the chair, so to speak, was I was gonna go like leaning heavy into comedy options.

Okay.

The Residence would be the other top contender at the moment.

Yeah.
