The Reluctant Vampire

[laughs] But let's quickly go through the shows that are coming out this week, Neil

NeilYeah, I'm really excited about The Reluctant Vampire, which comes out on the BBC on the 4th of October, so today as of recording.

And it's a coming-of-age sitcom following Val, a young boy trying to live up to his traditional vampire father's expectations, only to discover a shocking family secret, he's actually human.

It stars Lenny Rush as the, I guess, titular character, who's a very adorable... came to fame really with Doctor Who, but is a very, uh, uh, adorable watch.

But it's also got Tom Davis, Sian Clifford, Bill Bailey, Ross Noble, Joe Wilkinson, and Asim Chaudry.

... don't, uh, don't look askance at me.

Um, well, there's a show that we could have reviewed, but you being a fascist dictator, uh, decided we were reviewing other shows, and that is The Ru- The Reluctant Vampire.

Oh, right.

Okay.

It's, it's tricky, isn't it? Although I will say you two have been banging on about vampires, and it's a game about a vampire, so is that allowed?

Okay, yeah, that's allowed.

'Cause it's thematically connected to The Reluctant Vampire, and I was reluctantly playing a game about a vampire.

Oh.

That's coming to ITVX on the... 4th of October, that's called Blue Murder Hotel.

The Reluctant Vampire.

That lands on the 4th of October at 6.40pm. Stars BAFTA winner Lenny Rush as the Reluctant Vampire in a supernatural comedy.

It's based on an Eric Morecambe book, that I think.

So 4th of October at 6.40 for that.

Okay.

Uh, and The Reluctant Vampire comes to BBC One on Sunday.

Yes.

Which is with Tom Davis, uh, from-

Okay

...

The Reluctant Vampire with The Vampire Stab.

I'm gonna be safe.
