Footprints in the snow have been unfailing provokers of sentiment ever since snow was first a white wonder in this drab-colored world of ours.

In a poetry book presented to one of us by an aunt, there was a poem by one Wordsworth in which they stood out strongly, with a picture all to themselves, too.

I always forget about Fantasia.

Okay, that one hardly counts.

It does hardly count, but anyway.

I'm not counting the Reluctant Dragon.

That was not a full-length feature.

Maleficent's dragon is probably the scariest dragon that Disney created.

But the rest of them are, you know, the reluctant dragon or the figment, the dragon.

There's not a ton, I guess.

I shouldn't say a ton of dragons.

All right, sir.
