The Rasmus

But it got a much wider digital release in January of this year.

And after that, we're going to jump straight into the Rasmus.

I know, I know.

Who knew the Rasmus would still be going after all this time? It's a curious one because in the grand scheme of things, they seem to almost fall off the face of the earth after the success of In the Shadows.

But they seem to be forever keeping themselves busy, which is so cool on so many levels.

And they've returned with a couple of albums recently.

And they're still swinging now.

And their most recent cover version is of Forever Young.

Even the likes of Jari Litmanen and Jussi Jääskeläinen and Teemu Pukki would struggle to get up for this one at a half empty Olympic stadium.

Rock 'n' Roll Football-wise, it's Lordi and, uh, The Rasmus versus Dua Lipa and Rita Ora.

Metal versus pop, but who will come out on top? Keep it locked for updates.

[laughing]

That always happens.

And look, speaking of the Rasmus there, they've just released a cover of themselves there, Forever Young, I believe it was.

They did a great job of that.

So then, just in celebration of you going on tour, If you were to cover one of their songs, would you go to their old-school ones or would you pick a new one and cover it and if so, which

I'm so glad you said that.

Yay.

all right what else have you guys got coming up then in 26 27 i know aside from the rasmus tour is there an album coming have we anything to look forward to

I'm not going to expose too many details at the moment, but for the rest of the year, we're focusing on just preparing for the tour.

... to get annoyed at Josh Matthews for talking about, quote, "Dope rhymes." Tonight, Cena puts Angle in his shadow.

Like The Rasmus.

[laughs]

Cena and Matthews were so white here, you're gonna call this a wrestling podcast.

The Rasmus, sorry, yeah, yeah.

In the shadows of my life.

think.
