The Quietus

The album received largely positive reviews.

Ned Raggett writing for The Quietus in 2013 called the album "a compelling sprawl at its best, a case for fragmentation as beauty." The album's song, Who Killed Mr.

Moonlight, was described by David J. as a surrealistic ballad inspired in part by the murder of John Lennon.

Also, the mysterious character of Mr. Moonlight had a symbolic meaning which was seen by the band as being representative of the dreamy, poetic aspect of Bauhaus.

This is from the album A Grand Stream, which was out in 2024.

One of the reviews I read in the online version of Quietus was that SMORT's music is almost hallucinogenic in its psychedelic repetition, and I would agree with that, yeah.

It's like after five or 10 minutes of listening to this you feel like you're on LSD.

LSD, the band that was on earlier.
