Maybe as you go, is there one game, I don't quite know for this, but is there one game that you would recommend everyone to just, hey, you got to play this?
K
46:17KevinHOST
Yeah, I feel like at this point, a game like Quacks of Quedlinburg or even Codenames.
K
46:23KevinHOST
Yeah, Codenames is the game I was thinking about.
K
46:27KevinHOST
I played Codenames today and somebody hadn't played it and it literally boggled my mind that they hadn't played it.

J

We never played it because I have so many other games we wanted to play when we're playing with you guys, but... it's one that I will happily it's one I've already when I think about games for my game night it's one that's probably going to come out in one of the next game nights I have with the crew because it only goes to four I think it goes to five players but it plays better at four

yeah uh okay so two questions then as follow-up questions because you said it's the worst expansion uh one of the worst expansions you've ever had what's worse the expansion for Isle of Sky or any of the expansions for Quacks of Quedlinburg that aren't the one that take it to five
J
18:46JasonHOST
Oh, you know, I am ashamed to admit I've actually never actually played the expansion side of any expansions in Quacks.
J
18:55JasonHOST
You'd think I would have by now.

And then over time you would get more tokens in your bag.
J

And there was this whole Quacks of Quedlinburg element to it.
J
62:53Jack McNameeHOST
You know, there were lots of stuff, which I realized as I was going through it eventually, that really the social deduction and exploration and storytelling elements needed to be the core of the game and so playtesting was really about just getting it to that core vision as much as possible and then once that was done the rest of the playtesting was just that um because the game is so holistic because it doesn't have these separate um mini games or you know not mini games but because it has doesn't have that separate war map section, science section, UN section, because it's all the one thing, you know, making that work well was like a lot because any rule affects every other rule because it's all this big holistic thing that is very interconnected.
J

That was really tough.
