The Pretty Reckless

love it.

But, you know, speaking, obviously, of your character and your style, I did want to ask as well, you come out to the ring, your theme music is... going to hell by the pretty reckless i'm curious like basically without sounding um odd i i have a playlist of of songs that i constantly go oh that would be a great wrestling theme and i send them to carl quite often and that song has been on there for a while um so when when i was when i was looking at this i was like ah she's using it that's awesome um so i'm just curious sort of what what inspired that inspired that that choice in theme music

I think it was just a band that I actually did like when I was younger.

It wasn't my first entrance music.

But yeah, Going to Hell, I probably picked when I was like 18 or something like that.

It was just a band that I liked.

I just liked the Pretty Reckless.

And I was kind of like, yeah, hell, I'm emo.

I really appreciate it.

I remember a few years ago sitting down with Taylor Momsen from the Pretty Reckless at one of these big festivals.

And she said, hey, what do you think about our new song? And I said, man, to be honest with you, it sounds like an Allman Brothers song.

She goes, well, there's a there's a reason for that.

You couldn't deny the sound.

And it also blew me away because I didn't expect her and that band to, you know, have that type of influence, you know.

And how is that working with with Taylor and the Pretty Reckless? And how did that come about?

It was really cool, and I really enjoyed working on that tune, and it came about by them just reaching out and saying, we kind of envisioned your style of playing on this song, what do you think? And then...

How does that compare with the highlights of Dave Grohl's life?

It's, I mean, they're all so hard to, I pinch myself, they're hard to believe because I can't, it's almost like I'm watching this happen to someone else in a weird, it's like imposter syndrome or whatever they call it, where I'm just like, it doesn't feel real to me sometimes, but it's so real that with that ACDC thing, you know, they had the band Pretty Reckless on tour with them for years and we've been friends with Pretty Reckless for a long time.

And Taylor Momsen couldn't make one show.

So she called, she's like, man, I can't make this one show.
