The Plague Year

You know, you did a novel called The End of October about a global pandemic that came out just as COVID was starting.

And then you did a nonfiction book about COVID directly that was called The Plague Year.

And both of those books were basically about his institutional failure.

I think all of these books feel very, at one level, either very directly or more at a slightly more abstract level, all seem to be grappling with either the questions or the kinds of questions that are raised by the reporting and the writing of The Looming Tower.
