The Outsiders

It was the night before opening night.

The Outsiders is a troubled teen drama.

Had some good friends on that cast and

Josh was on the, uh, uh, on the latter side, and I had the opportunity to see him on Broadway and, uh, uh, doing The Outsiders, and then he and I have, have struck a nice friendship, and I just saw him in, uh, Joe Turner Come and Gone.

I think he's a phenomenal talent.

Mm.

That's all messed up.

Than at "The Outsiders" and "Just in Time." "The Outsiders" up 13% and we were up 16% at "Just in Time." Uh, so doing very, very well.

Also, "Six" the musical post-closing announcement was up 14 and a half.

"Six" also had the best week over week in-house capacity, so they're seeing a nice bump from everyone freaking out that the show is closing.

And, um, she is, yeah, she's still in that era.

I mean, I've, I've heard that she's still fun, you know? She, she does some producing, and, um, a friend of mine was in The Outsiders on Broadway, and she was a producer of that.

And they said whenever she came in to interact with the cast, like, she's just, like, a good time.

So she's fun, but, um, I don't know.

Yeah, maybe Happy Ending is continuing to slip here, as is every show.

But maybe Happy Ending and The Outsiders, our two best musical winners from the past few years, are really showing signs of fatigue.

Their four-week occupancy, so their house capacity in the past four weeks, are both down substantially.

Maybe Happy Ending down 14%, The Outsiders down 17%.

So could we see closing notice for either of these before the end of the year? Wouldn't surprise me.

I would expect maybe happy ending before The Outsiders just because The Outsiders has seen the higher highs than maybe happy ending has.

Schoolgirls

is still not really like killing it financially, nor should you expect them to because this is running at a not for profit, which means subscribers can get in in a different way.
