I do appreciate when like new musicals like this actually workshopped and do like showcases in front of audiences because you know it's that you do need that voice and there's things that in the room that may not translate as well on stage when the audience are there so that's why when you get this influx of like one not only concerts at Drury Lane which are more often than not a disaster I'm like, why didn't you workshop that? Why didn't you do, you know, like, for example, In Pieces recently, the other Palace, Joey Contreras, who's brilliant, was constantly workshopping it, seeing the audience response, changing it, saying, I'm not staging it fully until it's perfect.

Expensive sets, props, music, and a flurry of costume changes made it a feast for the eyes, yet what defied expectations was the play's witty, fiery script, which critics said made the Regency seem modern.
