The Oregon Trail

Yeah.

I loved Oregon Trail, which I'm sure has been brought up on this many times.

Yes, yes.

We did a whole-

Yeah.

Yes.

We loved Oregon Trail, too.

Did you ever play the Lemonade Stand game? That might have been a little before your time.

Do you get dysentery, Joe?

Not in the real world and not in Oregon Trail either, actually, because I only played it once and my family all died in a river.

But they were dead weight anyway, so it made the game easier.

We have played the Oregon Trail.

It's not the only thing we played because we had a bit of a high concept episode this month, right? So, geez, this was kind of your idea, right? Do you want to tell people what the idea was?

Yeah, so typically, like you said, we play one run-based game a month and we're all playing the same game.

I think Bad North was maybe the oldest, but still, it's like within the past 10 or so years.

So when we started this podcast, I had the idea for...

This is Crystal.

I played the Oregon Trail game in elementary school growing up.

I want to know how realistic it is to the real thing.

Did that many people die on the Oregon Trail? I want to know.

Can you tell me? Thanks.

Well, I got to tell you, Crystal, I am ashamed to admit that I missed the Oregon Trail craze.

I don't know what I was doing then.

I don't know what I was up to or into.
