The Oregon Trail

We've discussed that before, but yeah, A stupid analogy that I just kind of came up with is comparing last offseason to this season.

It's like the very first time you play Oregon Trail and you're starting out and you're having to buy all your supplies and figure things out and do what you do.

And then it, of course, all your entire caravan dies of dysentery halfway through.

Michael Lorenzen died of dysentery.

Hmm.

It's so funny that you bring up the Steve Jobs thing because I, this, like, triggered a very specific memory of sitting in a classroom, maybe in fourth grade, on the big Apple desktop computer playing the Oregon Trail game.

Right.

Um [laughs].

Hmm

... and it started in the era of, like, disks that you had to, like, load the software into the computer.

But, like, did you learn something from the Oregon Trail?

I mean, probably something about history in, like, a very disconnected way, but [laughs]...
