The Once and Future Witches

So here we go.

What if I told you all you needed was the will, the words, and the way? I just finished reading The Once and Future Witches by Alex E.

Harrow, and I cried so much.

But I also came away deeply inspired.

Yeah.

We, um, I read a book called The Once and Future Witches, and so I use that, what they talk about in that book, and it's a, it's a novel.

It's a, it's not a text [laughs] book.

So good, though.

It's called The Once and Future Witches by Alex E. Harrow.

So in 1893, there's no such thing as witches.

There used to be in the wild, dark days before the burnings began.

She let herself go, as in she let herself be free.

And we see that quiet, private rebellion turn into a massive public rebellion in Alix E. Harrow's The Once and Future Witches.

This is set in an alternate history 1893 in a city called New Salem.

The book braids the historical reality of suffragists organizing with the return of spellcraft.

Mm.

But, um, one of my favorites, and it was a huge inspiration for this book, was The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow.

It's very, um, feminist-leaning, women's rights.

It goes big into suffrage, um, and getting the right to vote, and it just has some phenomenal witchy elements.

Is there, like, a really pretty cover one?
