The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency

Uh, as far as that's concerned, we have, uh, Bruce Watson, uh, here with his new version of his band, Big Country, Big Country Redux, and the splendid singer-songwriter, Zoe Graham.

Uh, but, uh, let's start with, uh, Alexander McCall Smith, Sandy, if I may, whose, uh, many published works include the more than 25 novels inc- uh, featuring, uh, Precious Ramotswe, and The Number One Ladies' Detective Agency set in Botswana.

44 Scotland Street, and two or three other series of books set in Edinburgh.

And the Detective Vaarg novels set in Sweden.

... have life stories and, uh, lesson learned.

For fun, I think I would gift the ones from the Number One Ladies Detective Agency, and they're life short story of a African lady, Mma Ramotswe, that solves these small little crimes in Africa, but have, like, little lessons of lives, and they're super positive and super beautiful.

And having grown up in the Congo, obviously, uh, when I read them, I can feel the heat of the land coming out of the pages and brings me back a little bit home.

Mm-hmm.
