The New Ministry

Like, it, this is big, meaty, tough metalcore.

And again, like, you c- you obviously have, like, the intro track with, um, The New Ministry, which is, like, building kind of like a little bit of atmosphere.

But once you kind of get past that and you get into The Prey, it's just, like, yeah, here's, like, thrashing riffs that go hard.

Like, back when metalcore bands still had riffs.

Yeah.

But it is, like, believably incensed and pissed off as a record.

And that intro, The New Ministry, is very much like, it's, it's creepy and oppressive in, like, a this system we're living under is going to smother us in some kind of way.

And then The Prey, which I think is one of the tunes that I had way back when, and I'd certainly, when I hear that now, I think one of the things why it would've appealed to 14-year-old me is they've come from hardcore.
