Amy regularly writes three columns a week across the New Daily and the Oz Institute, as well as for Deep Cut.

And she lends her fabulously incisive commentary to countless radio programs and podcasts and television shows.

So she was doing all of this while writing these two bestselling books.

And I know nurses are copying violence and aggression on the job at record levels.

But here's the twist that surprised me when I read a recent article from Simon Kersenmacher in the New Daily.

Australia isn't actually becoming more violent.

So despite being angry, assault rates have actually fallen over the last decade.
