The Neutral Zone

Yeah.

And it's this also when they say that they're going into the neutral zone, right?

Which last time we went to the neutral zone, it was a whole big thing and it was real scary and it could have started a war.

Yeah.

This time he's like, well, we got to go get them.

I could see Riker not questioning it because they're going to save a thousand people or whatever.

But...

I like that.

Which is exactly what happened to the outposts along the edge of the neutral zone at the end of season one, because the Borg, that was always the plan, was to have the Borg turn up as, like, a major threat, and they sort of built it up at the end of season one and then just kind of, I don't know, left it for ages for some reason.

Well, no, but I...

So did they mention the Borg at the end of season one? I thought that it was those stupid conspiracy aliens that were meant to be the threat, and then they obviously said-

The Arsenal of Freedom, which is when, the terrible episode where Geordi's very handsy with people.

I could think of the

Um, they are absolutely convinced in the beginning, um, uh, well, at least Riker and, and La Forge are, that they're in no danger simply because these guys have a reputation for being slow-witted and outclassed by their own technology.

Um, and another thing that happens [laughs] in the, in the episode which has happened in a couple of other episodes, um, including "The Neutral Zone" which is one of my favorites, um, gosh, wouldn't it have been nice to have Troi on the bridge during this particular scene? Where was she?

She suddenly, she suddenly turns up after Worf quite rightly says, "Is there a reason we are sending our chief engineer [laughs] over to take care of this minor problem?" Um, and then we have to wait until Geordi's already over there for Troi to show up and go, "Wait a minute.
