The Nanny Diaries

Well, I want to start by looking at a movie that completely changed the emotional ending of its source material.

I remember reading The Nanny Diaries years ago.

Oh, yeah.

A fascinating example.

Scarlett Johansson is in this.

Did you know her before this role? Sure, she was a bit of an indie darling, though I don't think anyone's writing home about the Nanny Diaries or Scoop.

But she takes on the role of Silk and Floss and not only lands a role on the Avengers squad as the only woman to crack it, but also eventually gets nominated for two Oscars the same century.

You think she's hanging on to an Oscar nomination for Jojo Rabbit if she doesn't hang with the octopus and the spirit? I say not.

Yep.

Um, and you know The Nanny Diaries?

Sure.

I forget she was in Scooby-Doo.

She was a voice in that.

She was in The Nanny Diaries, The Savages, Man of the Year.
