Yeah, I'm going to introduce something new.

Brand new album by the Mountain Goats called Days.

Just came out last week.

I don't know if you know the Mountain Goats, but John Darnell, the singer, he's also like a creative writing guy.

He's written several novels.

And he has this weird quality about him.

It's a really good album called Days, just released earlier this week.

Mountain Goats.

We have John Darnielle's Devil House.

Now, fun piece of trivia for you, Darnielle is the primary member of the indie folk band The Mountain Goats.

Ooh, I didn't know that.

Yeah.

All right.

Number three for our intro into the Mountain Goats is a song from Tallahassee.

Okay.

And that one's called No Children.

What I'm seeing is this guy who is a nerdy Magic the Gathering player.

So he'll talk about, oh, well, this is the deck I'm going to pull out.

Even though he's willing to play a mono-blue merfolk deck from time to time, I will still like the Mountain Goats.

I'm hoping somebody knows what that means.

Scott and I were talking about the five songs that like should make you a fan or should give you a really good idea of what the Mountain Goats are about and what you can expect from them.
