The Mongoose

Mark is, um, was Liam's stunt double, maybe still is, for quite some time.

Now directing, uh, the movie.

It's called The Mongoose.

It'll be in theaters October 30th.

I hated it.

I still hate it.

And, uh, I don't mind admitting, and Mark can vouch for this, a dear friend of mine who grew up with cars, in cars, who still works with cars in Dublin, when I was telling him the story of Mongoose, I said to the end of my little blurb, I said, "But the star of the movie, Peter," that's my friend's name, "is this car." And he said, "What is it?" And I said, "It's a red one."

[laughs]

If it feels like you're seeing much more of Marissa Tomei lately, it's not your imagination.

She reprised her role as Peter Parker's late Aunt May, flashbacks, in Spider-Man Brand New Day, and in the coming months she'll star with Liam Neeson in The Mongoose and with Sam Rockwell in the horror film Hellhound.

She also just nabbed a lead role in season two of the HBO series War.

It's been a busy year, she says, noting that the entertainment industry finally feels like it's recovered from the pandemic.

On Friday, October 30th, a war hero is falsely accused of a crime.

This is Mongoose.

I can't do that.

I will never be captured again.

Co-stars get close.

Stella Stocker and Liam Neeson, whose upcoming film The Mongoose is their third one together, held hands at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of Courtney Cox's film Evil Genius on September 12th.

Crowd pleaser.

Jay-Z lit up the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, France during his Jay-Z 30 tour on September 10th.

It was mad, really, Twiggy, born Leslie Hornby, says of going from a working-class teen to a fashion sensation at 16.

In the new documentary Twiggy, on Video On Demand September 20th, the legend, 76, looks back on her unlikely rise following a spontaneous haircut.

In the film, Twiggy reflects on her subsequent acting and singing careers, as well as her ups and downs, including the death of her first husband, Michael Whitney, who had a heart attack while they were dining out with their then four-year-old daughter, Carly.

She also recalls constant criticism of her slender frame.
