The Mollusk

Well...

Yeah, I mean, I was going to get to the honorable mentions later, but the mollusk was very, very close to making it to my list.

And I just couldn't bring myself to delete anything else.

I have very special memories of that one.

Yeah.

Up in the purple room.

And he's playing the mollusk through the house.

And we're like...

1997.

Yes, so this one is from The Mollusk.

It's probably my favourite of their studio albums, along maybe with Quebec in the 2000s.

But I love the concept for this one, the nautical concept.

yes definitely yeah but

um it reached mtv i think they had a segment on beavis and butthead so you know you know you've made it when you've hit some butthead But there's also tons of demos from when they were still in their home studio recording songs for Pure Guava, which I think was quite impressive.

Yeah, so we're not going to play Push Little Daisies because we generally try to stick away from the most... popular songs if we can no ocean man tonight no yes no i mean obviously ocean man will come up in the uh the mollusk set next year um but um this one is uh absolute banger from um pure guava also one of the other particularly great songs this and it's a particularly relevant one for the title so we just said captain fantasy and now we're going to have don't get too close to my fantasy

Little boy,

Okay, respect.

But honestly, sometimes it's The Mollusk.

Yeah,

okay.
