Roger would have been in and out of these sessions because 1988 for him was also dedicated to creating The Miracle, of which he obviously contributed lots of the songs and lots of the ideas to that well worth a listen, as I'm sure most of our listeners would already be aware of um and a few of the songs we're going to discuss tonight came out of those jam sessions others didn't and others that were recorded around that time never featured at all until the lot came out in 2013 but in december 88 and this is the reason we're bringing this up the cross played a fan club party i think it was in london john and brian joined and one of the songs in december 88 which was just a few months after manipulate being released was top of the world ma it was track five i think in that concert so that's clearly where kind of the ideas for this album um began so mad bad and dangerous to know it was released when it was eventually finished on the 26th of march 1990 It lasts for 44 minutes and 26 seconds if you're listening to the CD version, which is important because the CD version includes Foxy and Lady, a Jimi Hendrix cover.

The album itself didn't chart anywhere.

There's obviously less input from Roger here than there was on Shovit.
S

And that's because if you look very, very generally at what Roger has been up to and how busy he's been, in 87, he basically spent creating Shovit.
S

In 88, he basically spent creating The Miracle.
S

In 89, he basically spent creating this.
