There's a real Detroit throb to Burned or Buried, anchored by our next guest, Becca Joyn, previously a member of lauded math rockers, Quattro Ted.

Together with singer-guitarist Leighton Chamberlain Mann, who was formerly in The Meat Men, and drummer Miguel Echimendia, who's a well-known visual artist and designed their album cover, Becca carves out her own space in the band's powerful bluster.

She was kind enough to give us the backstory on the band and tell us more about their debut album, the aptly titled Juggalo Wild Wings.

We, uh, we did a Meat Men cover, uh, True Grit.

I'm sure we did a few other covers that aren't really coming to mind, um, in terms of like older punk songs.

But, um, on the last album, we did a Journey cover.
