The Maze Runner

So this movie coming out in April, April 30th this year, we should be getting a trailer probably soon.

I would imagine before something in November directed by Wes Ball, who's best known for several Maze Runner movies, which might clue us into what the tone of this is like.

Why? Why? Novel fantasy novel kind of thing.

Also directed the most recent Planet of the Apes movie, The Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which I thought was pretty good.

Landman, obviously Muds is number one.

Maze Runner, the sequel.

Oh, and the first one.

Oh, that's the third one?

[laughs]

We decided after watching all the Maze Runner movies-

All the Pa- Maze Runner movies, yeah

... what else is this guy making?

What else-

Oh, you think he's gonna say, he's gonna be the strong silent type?

The strong silent type.

Um, the other thing it reminded me of though as well is there's a lot of shots in this movie that reminded me of, like, the Maze Runner series as well.

And like I probably saw eight comic book movies a year, 2014, 15, 16, 17, 18.

So like I was not going to see the Maze Runner films.

I never saw them.

I've never watched them.

For the boys and the enormous Alex Pettifer fans such as myself.

We'll touch on Alex Pettifer at some point in some capacity.

We'll definitely be doing Hunger Games, Beautiful Creatures, Warm Bodies, Mortal Instruments City of Bones, Vampire Academy, Divergent, The Maze Runner.

We plan on talking about all of these.

They were like, oh, you cast Will Poulter? That guy from Where the Mill is? I'm like, well, no.

He was in Maze Runner.

He was in Bandersnatch, that Black Mirror thing, which was pretty cool.

He was in Midsommar as well.

I think she's amazing.

The girl Kaya, the reason I recognized her was because she was in the Maze Runner movies.

Oh.

And I forgot that she's Teresa from The Maze Runner.

Yeah.

Um, but I know a lot of them.

Sure.

Maze Runner.

all of the stuff that everyone knows you for.

But before we get there, I kind of want to rewind all the way back to a young Catherine in Missouri before your professional life started, which it started young at 14.

know, and you can only understand by being in the environment.

Yeah.

so now we're moving to like yeah i mean we tried we did try to move into it before but we was there was some interesting stuff there um so you know we move into like the the film tv side you know you've been a part of some amazing franchises some amazing series um shadow hunter maze runner arrow um just unbelievable stuff and i wondered what did those chapters teach you those different chapters

So many things.
