The Mayo News

Well, styles certainly make podcasts as well.

You had the legacy media of the Western people and the Mayo News going toe to toe with the totally unwell inbredness of Larry and I.

Now, there's 10 people in the chat who will be wanting us to move swiftly along and announce that this week we have another book club.

Farnari, you'll be delighted to know.

Luke Flatley I don't think he scored you know so they do need to get something moving up front and maybe maybe a year down there as I said if they go and win it next year and bounce back up well then they maybe you know you win something yeah you might be you might be better suited by when you go back up you know Kilmina came down went straight back up and it wasn't looking good for them this year again and suddenly they had that big win against Westport that held their status and that could do wonders for them now next year as well so yeah look at as I said for a long period yesterday I didn't play well in that game but it all it all changed in the last I'd say yeah seven or eight minutes and they will be they will be very very pleased to have got out of dodge you know

yeah there was similar flirting going on in the intermediate but Luesburg have pulled out pulled it out of the bag again Dylan Prendergast I think got 11 points won by James Bretney's article in the Mayo News this week Luesburg 20 Kilcommon 8 which was a real comprehensive victory for for Luesburg they are they are kick back after that disappointing disappointing performance versus the neil and are safe now and kick common back to junior again champions only two years ago yeah i

seen lewisburg ref against davids and uh they put in a very good performance i was very surprised against the neil and kill common haven't been performing well all year i think the writing was on the wall from kill common from early in the year and again they might have bodies coming back next year there's talk maybe that Rafter may be coming home and if he comes home he'll add a lot at junior level Darren Murphy I don't know what's his story he's in Australia If he was to come home, that would nearly, if they had them too, it would probably make them favourites for the Junior Championship.

So, well, again, they'll be sore tonight, I think, or today.

But another issue had begun in Castlebar while the family were organising the funeral.

On Tuesday the 18th of June 2019, the Mayo News carried an announcement saying Reverend Val Rogers intended to hold a service at the Holy Trinity Church in Castlebar on Saturday the 29th of June.

It was to remember Valerie and to pray for the French and Kilroy families, the children and James himself.

But Valerie's family had not been involved in arranging it.
