probably not no i mean i was aware of sequels but yeah no i think i think prequels um now this is sort of something i wanted to ask you guys is they they feel sort of weirdly not irrelevant but kind of benign compared to a sequel like they sort of don't have and i've felt this trying to pick my choices good and bad for this chat was they don't have the same kind of power as a sequel does certainly not the power to sort of ruin the legacy of whatever they are attached to is my feeling I think through my life and certainly when you're dissecting it to talk about here I'm like oh why is that the Matrix sequels which we talked about last time I was genuinely angry about them But Dumb and Dumber when Harry met Lloyd just feels like a sort of The Lion King 2, you know, like a straight to video thing, even though it's not.

I don't have the same relationship with any of the prequels, which made it quite tricky to pick these choices.

And I wondered whether you guys felt the same way.
