The Limited

We digress.

And do you remember a store called The Limited?

Oh my God, are you kidding me? I was a girl in the 80s, of course.

I loved The Limited.

Founded in 63, closed in 2017.

Oh, Forenza was their flagship product.

1982, Lex Wexner buys Victoria's Secret.

Okay, so Lex Wexner is the founder of The Limited.

They buy...

Victoria's Secret for approximately $1 million.

And then you fast-forward, like, 15 years.

It was 2007, 2008, and The Limited had just launched a website with a really small skeleton crew sort of off in the corner getting the work done.

And they were like, "Well, now we need someone to run this business.

Brian, do you wanna take a shot at it?" And I went home and I talked to my wife, and I was like, "Oh, I don't know." [laughs] I don't know what I was thinking.

But that was what got me when I started in retail, and it's what keeps me in it every day.

I- that's the thing that I love the most.

And so I started in digital at The Limited, and then just progressively moved through, you know- You know, increasing areas of responsibility in digital at a couple different companies, bringing me to VS&Co for the last two and a half years.

It's an incredibly exciting time to be at VS&Co.
