for anyone who's listening and maybe they're not familiar with like effective altruism it's essentially just like a philosophical and a social movement where you're trying to it's very utilitarian in the sense that you're trying to like maximize the impact that you can have um with whether it's like your time volunteering or in most cases like money that you can donate um and it was something that i was always like quite interested in i um When I first started studying philosophy, I got really into like the philosophy of Peter Singer and the life you can save.
