But it's implied in a lot of the stories that they're still around just doing stuff.

Like a lot of the Dark Rangers and stuff would break free from Arthas the same time Sylvanas would.

When they found Raz Frostwhisperer, Skull of Ant's veterans would recognize the name of its formidable lich.

Here, Raz was still human and preparing to surrender to that very condition.

So, we'll have more information with all the details as the

pre-patch gets closer, but I can say that our current plan is focusing on telling the story of what happened to all of these undead that had been paroled by the helm of the Lich King.

As soon as that helm was broken, they are now rampaging across the area.

Our main focus of the pre-patch experience is going to be around Northrend and Icecrown in particular, as the forces of Azeroth, both Alliance and Horde, need to fight their way to the center of where all of this has happened.

Because unlike Legion, where it was completely random, here, what you're doing is unlocking, learning these ancient fragments of power.

That's all we wanted.

The same runesmith that made Frostmourne, that made the Helm of Domination that Lich King wears, can use to imbue your items with legendary power.

And so, you know, It's something that you can work towards as you make different legendaries to suit different situations.

They're just saying, like, they're trying to tell people the faction divide is still there.

I think there's a desire, but the population that we don't have nearly what we had at Lich King.

And we kept running

We were joking on the Discord about this earlier today, actually, because somebody was listening to an older episode.

You have like 36 classes.

Basically, each spec is its own class, and there's not as much overlap between class abilities as there was in even like Wrath of the Lich King.

You have so much overlap, or sorry, so little overlap now, and I think that the overlap helped in a lot of ways, because it was easier for a player to understand and learn the Fire Mage if they played Frost, Because they're already used to using Fire Blast and maybe even Fireball and, you know, a couple of other abilities that Frostmages or that Firemages already had.

So it wasn't like a complete design change.
