The Last Seduction

Well, you guys are very conversational, and, and just listening to it, I was like, "I feel like I'm hanging out with my friends." So, um, this was a no-brainer to come on and, and talk with you guys, especially about this movie.

Um, back in the day, I actually saw it in Denver, Colorado as a double feature at some art house with, uh, I saw it with Something Wild.

Oh, that was-

And I, it was the best afternoon.

I mean, I still remember it.

Both those movies are still two of my favorites just from that afternoon.

They, whoever billed those together, it was perfect.

So we obviously already covered Basic Instinct, which is iconic for a reason.

But it's like when I go back and I look at this, I mean, some of the more notable ones that come to mind, you have The Last Seduction, Bound, Wild Things, Single White Female, Poison Ivy, Disclosure, Color of Night.

I mean, these are all movies that I would... for the most part i probably put a little bit higher as far as you know just where i would rank them

all more explicit movies than fear

She's in some, like, pretty decent films.

The Last Seduction is absolutely fucking phenomenal.

I really like that film.

Um, that might be my, my favorite of hers.

Mm-hmm.

Right? Of, like, you know, like, Last Seduction, right? You know, these movies about...

Or, like, yeah, like, whatever.

They're noir-y, they're Hitchcock-y or whatever, but there's, like, there's, like, fucked up, like, Tarantino shit in this one, dude, right?

I've never delved into the oeuvre that is the erotic thriller.

You're talking The Last Seduction? I think that's the one.

I'm not opposed to it.

It was not a flop.

but it starred Linda Fiorentino, and it was called The Last Seduction.

My edict is don't reach for a DVD you've seen 37 times.

Find something new.
