The Last First: Winter K2

I watched a documentary yesterday instead of napping, Coca, and I really, given our schedule right now in October, I have gotta work in some sort of nap during the day.

But I watched The Last First Winter, K2 on Apple TV.

That is gonna be quite a review tomorrow.

You're gonna wanna hang on, and I chose that purposefully as the movie I wanted to review on episode 1,500, which is tomorrow, which also is our seven-year anniversary of Nothing Personal.

There is a reason that you will see a thread that you will understand when we review The Last First Winter, K2.

The other thing we're gonna do tomorrow, because tomorrow's Wednesday, while we are gonna celebrate our 1500th episode, while we are gonna talk about our seven-year anniversary and the possibility of the seven-year itch, Wednesday is a So You Want To Talk To Samson Wednesday.

Here's the number to call.

I did think that...

Well, I guess, are you okay if we go ahead and dive into "The Last First: Winter K2"?

Yeah, let's, let's do it.

This is a movie that came out on Apple TV, and, um, this is a documentary, which we haven't, we haven't done a documentary yet, so this is exciting.

Yeah.

The Last First: Winter K2.

Highly because the mountain is so high.

Mm-hmm.

Uh, what have you got to flag on Apple TV+?

They've got a new movie called The Last First: Winter K2, and it takes a look at the extreme climbing community and its changing culture told through the lens of a 2021 expedition up the world's second-highest mountain.

What happens when, what happens when experienced climbers find themselves sharing the treacherous ascent with influencers-

Ooh

Like, you're gonna watch a true crime piece, but then you just wanna watch something that's kind of cerebral, and so that's why I'm adding it in.

On Friday, October second, Apple TV premieres "The Last First: Winter K2," and it follows a group of climbers attempting to summit K2 in winter.

For those of you who are extreme sports people, right up your alley.

And then reality TV wise, okay, so on Monday, September twenty-eighth, Jeff Lewis returns to Bravo with "Still Flipping Out." The original "Flipping Out" was about home renovation technically, but many of us remember watching his relationship with his employees, his friends, and anybody else who entered the room at the wrong moment.

So the first one is a feature length documentary on Apple TV, which was previously released in the cinema.

It's called The Last First Winter K2.

And it's basically about how the first winter ascent of K2, which is the world's second highest mountain, is nicknamed the Savage Mountain because one mountaineer just said it tries to kill you.

And...
