The Land

Cause there's tons of those too.

This is a restaurant that sometimes gets overlooked and it's in the land pavilion.

We've passed it a million times, I'm sure.

And that is Sunshine Seasons.

It's served with cilantro, lime rice, black beans, peppers, onions, Katia cheese, and pico de gallo.

And they said that the beef was really tender and it was a generous portion for your price.

So if you're visiting Soarin' or living with the land, then stop on by for a quick bite.

That restaurant's always good for a little break in some nice air conditioning.

I think Food & Wine has done a really good job on their dishes this year.

All right, we are at Earth Eats over near the Land Pavilion, and I just picked up, new this year, the Lemon Almond Olive Oil Cake.

It's got a whipped Greek yogurt panna cotta as well.

Looks really pretty.

Mm-hmm

... after that, we headed over to, um, living with the, we were gonna go over to the Land Pavilion.

I got a M- Mickey pretzel.

Um, I have to say $9 for a Mickey pretzel, which is, I mean, $9?

But it is what it is.

But you know, $9.

Um, then we went to the, we, we hung out in the, the Land Pavilion just for air conditioning purposes and had the pretzel.

Mm-hmm.

A vision may influence the future while the people carrying it forward respond to new circumstances.

Now at Epcot, at the Land Pavilion, you can see innovation in agriculture in action.

Living with the land, it takes guests through greenhouses and fish farms.

It introduces growing technologies such as hydroponics, which allows plants to grow without soil.

I need someone to manage registration so I can prepare the workshop.

Now, that gives them a clear way to contribute.

Now, at the land pavilion, growing food involves attention to the conditions that help it develop.

Your work deserves thoughtful attention to its conditions as well.

Yep.

And then I close out the attractions with a couple of my favorites, which are Soarin' and Living with the Land over at the Land Pavilion.

And after that, assuming that it's getting close to 11:00 AM and there, there's a festival going on, I would probably hit up a few food booths just to tide me over, like, food-wise for the flights home.

Totally.

I don't care where you are, you immediately go into the Living with the Land greenhouse, the Land Pavilion.

And you know, that's one where, you know, it's on Living with the Land, but I don't necessarily consider that, like, an attraction theme song.

I mean, that is, that is pure just-

That's, that's gonna be your character dining experience with Mickey, uh, Pluto in their little farmer gear, and then Chip and Dale.

And so it's in, it's in that rotating restaurant in Living W- or in the Land pavilion, so you get to look over into Living with the Land.

Um, and it's a all you care to enjoy family style, so you don't have to get up, which I always love and recommend for, um, families that have very, very young children because you don't have that annoying piece of, like, having to go back to a buffet.

All the food comes to you, so it's just very nice.

They were designed to diffusely reflect the landscape surrounding Spaceship Earth.

By day, Spaceship Earth is intended to mirror the sky, the land, the patterns made by Epcot Center structures, walkways, and guests.

By night, it glints and sparkles with the lights of future world and world showcase, but also with the galaxy, the stars, and the planets above.

The panels are intended to be self-cleaning by the rainfall and feature a smoother-than-glass surface.

According to Bradbury, if we learned how mankind historically used communication to achieve the advances that led us to the present, that knowledge and understanding would help us make even greater advances in the future.

And that's why it actually does also fit perfectly in where it is in terms of the park.

Everything that branched out around it really is – it shows how humans have evolved in further ways, whether it was with World of Motion and the idea of how transportation was furthered and – And continuing going on with that, eventually with imagination, the land and farming and agriculture and the seas and everything with that and eventually horizons down the way, universe of energy, it's all furthered.

To get to those places and to really move forward with that, it really did require communication.
