The Killing Kind

Then generally I think it's a slasher.

And I'll say like Curtis Harrington's The Killing Kind, The Silent Scream, like those are two that I would almost think of as proto-slashers.

Yeah, I think for me, so I have, my definition is, and I know a lot of people try to define slashers in general, like is Psycho a slasher? You know, some people would say Halloween was the first slasher, and we know that's not true at all.

But for my definition, I do mark Halloween, anything before Halloween, as a proto-slasher, just because Halloween is what... really kick-started the slasher craze.
