I have a good show planned for you today with some Christy Moore, the Wolftones, Gaelic Storm, Amble, the Irish Rovers, the Dubliners, Van Morrison, and others on my list for you guys today.

And we'll start first off set off with Christy Moore.

Both those bands right there hit the top ten in the European, Irish... news, music charts that I was reading back in 24 and in 25.

I believe Kingfisher was in 24 and Amble was in 25.

And to start that set was Mary's Eyes off of from gaelic storm off the tree album so we got lots more to go and we're halfway through with this already i can't believe it but we're gonna get started with the irish rovers

So this is one that I figured I probably knew because I...

Got a little bit of knowledge in the area of, you know, Irish folk in the sense that, you know, my my dad in particular was into folk music and certainly had some of it that came from Ireland, especially by the Irish Rovers.

And so that was kind of my initial thought, but it didn't really fit the band name being a pluralized form of the redacted word in the title of this poetry and short story collection because it sounded like it should be the somethings.

And so, you know, the the Irish rovers have Irish as the additional adjective in the name.

So that wasn't it.

And I thought, oh, I know this one.

I mispronounced them purposely.

anyway I couldn't I thought I had like the Clancy Brothers singing it or the Irish Rovers or the Chieftains it turns out I don't have any of those but I do have the Pogues on the album Rum Sodomy and The Lash which are three things we always associate with Dolly Parton

especially The Lash it's actually not on this LP but it is on the EP that was released with this LP which I have somewhere I can't find it and on Spotify it's part of this album so it'll be on the playlist

Kevin will be away for a couple of weeks and I'll be entertaining you during his absence.

So today we're going to do some Celtic Thunder, some High Kings, some Dublin City Ramblers, Gaelic Storm, Kilmine Saints, the Young Dubliners, and some Irish Rovers.
