The Invaders

And I'm Kenneth.

And tonight we are looking at The Invaders, Season 1, Episode 12, "The Betrayed." Episode synopsis: Prologue.

David Vincent has gotten smart.

He's identified an alien hotspot.

He's established himself on the location and has conducted a three-month-long surveillance program culminating in getting photographs of a landing spacecraft, the arrival of new invaders, and not just identifying an invader facility concealed inside a railway car, he manages to get inside and take pictures of it.

But there is this pretty, pretty little button that calls out his name, and so seduced, he presses the button, alerting the invaders to his presence.

In his life-and-death battle with an alien, he uses the camera as an ineffective weapon, then ultimately kills the invader with his hands.

He grabs a computer tape from a console and he escapes, leaving his camera behind.

Would you like to see it?

He's in episodes of The Untouchables, Dr. Kildare, The Fugitive, The Andy Griffith Show, Mission Impossible, The Invaders, Ironside, Kung Fu, and M.A.S.H., And late in his career, he appears in Muppets from Space, the 2000 version of Shaft, and Talladega Nights, the Ballad of Ricky Bobby.

So what do you

think, Mr. Dennett? He sure can drive.

Okay.

Someone's here asking, do we remember a show called The Invaders?

I do, yeah, I do.

I vaguely remember that one, yeah, yeah, yeah.
