The Inner Light

But the one that I know is one of my absolute top five Beatles songs ever.

It's called The Inner Light.

Without going out of my door, I can know.

And it was the B-side of Lady Madonna.

And he used it as inspiration for this song, which became, funny enough, a pandemic anthem.

They donated a bunch of money, the Harrison family, I think, donated a bunch of money to charity.

And, uh, encourage people to sing, cover the song, the inner light, which is all about traveling in your mind when you're stuck at home and all these incredible people covered it.

And it's, it's always been one of my absolute favorite songs.

Yeah.

Talk about the involvement of with Mike and Papa there for the inner light, because that's another one, too, which, you know, I thought was really, really creative.

Yeah.

Papa Molly is a guitar player from from here.

He had a reggae band for a long time called the Killer Bees, and he does all kinds of different stuff.

And he really loves like psychedelic stuff.

uh music so we he had been working with andre on another project and andre asked if he would want to come play something on this so he came on the inner light and kind of just added this like psychedelic ambient guitar that kind of runs throughout everything and it really was just like it added this whole kind of ethereal vibe throughout the whole thing, uh, which is really neat.

And then Mike Dillon is a percussionist here in town.
