The Indianapolis Star

But, um, yeah, it was, uh, it was a great way to get started.

And, um, one thing that I learned going across the country was that I could pick up The Boston Globe and read a story and travel to Indianapolis and read The Indianapolis Star the same exact story, and it was completely different.

And that's when I kind of realized the power of the media and how they would be telling different stories, whether it be sports or whether it be news, and go, "Oh my God, uh, these guys have got a lot of power on how we think."

Oh, I mean, I'm gonna dive into that in a sec.

And I know Gannett came up recently.

This is Herald Tribune, Indystar, Jacksonville.com, a bunch of them.

They're huge.

Got a lot of local sites in addition to USA Today.

Considerably different.

On June 12th, 1983, The Indianapolis Star published a Sunday front-page article with the headline, "Profiles of Eight Victims: FBI Concludes Two Men Responsible for Murders." The article opened with a haunting idea that every murderer leaves a shadow over his crime.

Even when the shadow is vague, it can reveal something about the killer.

But studying the way victims died, detectives may not know exactly who they are looking for, but they can begin to understand what kind of person the killer might be.

He was 14 years old.

We've already mentioned his name prior.

The Indianapolis Star described him as decent, athletic, and likable.

He lived on the 600 block of West 29th Street in Indianapolis.

It's pretty good.

They were voted like by Indy Star, Indiana's best breaded pork tenderloin sandwich.

But, you know.

I mean, everyone has their own opinion

It's one you'll want to see.

But this from USA Today Network, along with Detroit News, Indianapolis Star, and probably tons of papers.

25 years after 9-11, many Muslims feel new backlash.

It's all about Muslims.

It's like, hey, you know, he actually did it.

Back in September 6th of 2024 on IndyStar.

It says, Center Grove running back Carson Steele wins 2020 Mr.

Football.

like Dalton Connect if he was available? What is the fascination with Dalton Connect? I feel like we get questions about Dalton Connect all year long.

I know Dustin Dopierak and his Indy Star thing talked about Connect as someone that could target in the offseason, like as like a hypothetical type of thing.

I just don't get it.
