The Iceman Cometh

I remember I've said this already, but I remember earlier today, I think.

But I remember reading the Iceman Cometh and being like, God, I would love to play that woman.

And then someone being like, you can't play that woman.

Why? Because you're black.

Sometimes the Iceman delivered it right to your house.

Well, actually, the Iceman here is a metaphor for the Grim Reaper, but I digress.

Ice, the Iceman, ice companies, all part of daily life in the early 20th century.

Uh, and, uh, you know, so it was

much better as Hickey and the Iceman Cometh.

But in any event, I wanted to talk about Iceman I'm leading a little bit here, but let's assume that our vast international audience, okay, for Art of Darkness, doesn't know who O'Neill is, doesn't have access to a theater that's doing an O'Neill play right now.

The Iceman Cometh, there's a film version of it.

Do you suggest that as a worthy introduction to the work of O'Neill?
