The Hurlingham Club

I've got one for her.

There is a very, very famous private members club near here, Cindy, called the Hurlingham Club, which is very posh.

And it's a beautiful piece of real estate right by the Thames over there.

You

It's got an outdoor swimming pool, indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, etc., etc., etc.

Anyway, when we moved here nearly 40 years ago, I should have got myself down on the list then, but I didn't.

And there was a little bit of a scandal because a member of the royal family was inducted into the Hurlingham Club, not going through the waitlist process.

And there was a sort of basically nuclear explosion in southwest London when a queue was jumped, at which point they closed their lists.

The best one

I've been to was at the Hurlingham Club.

I'm not a member, but I was taken by a member.

And it was the year David Bowie had died.
