One of the other aspects of this overall ecosystem, as you pointed out, there are a lot of Johnny-come-latelys where they say, yes, we do metadata.

We'll bring all of your information about your data estate into one place, but maybe it's lacking some of the more nuanced and detail-oriented aspects of true metadata capabilities, such as versioning and change management, like you were referencing.

Another one of the huge challenges is the fact that, as you pointed out, every engine that works with the data needs to have some concept of its own metadata for how its own internal representation works, how it keeps track of state, how it keeps track of data assets.

But you also need to be able to bring that to a more global view in order for things to be able to actually work across those different engines.

And so I think that's another constant struggle that we have in the industry of every engine wants to grow more and more of its capability to own more of the metadata, but it's never going to be complete unless you have a system where that is the sole purpose is to be the cross cutting repository of knowledge of the data estate for an organization.

And they need to have one repository with a different look and feel and different interaction to them.

And as you continue to build and improve and iterate on the Metacarta product, as well as your core business, what are some of the things you have planned for the near to medium term or any particular projects or problem areas that you're excited to explore?

Well, we're just starting on the Semantic Hub, despite the huge 30 years experience of bringing all this together.
