The House That Screamed

Not that I actually dislike Paul Nashie.

I personally think he's fine if that's your thing, right? But we found a pretty interesting film and it's called The House That Screamed from 1969.

That's the American, the US name.

It is La Residencia?

So maybe rent it from Prime?

Yeah, this might be one that you actually do need to pay for.

Because I will say, even before we start going into the plot and what works and what doesn't work, to me, The House That Screamed is something I'm going to recommend.

It's a rare movie that I honestly couldn't really figure out what was going on.

As far as other programs, this week's The Spellbook is, let me see here, episode 26.

A young Spanish actress who, once again, fans of horror films are gonna know her from a few pivotal roles in a few pivotal movies, especially, uh, the Spanish horror genre.

She was in, uh, Serraura's amazing The House That Screamed in 1969, uh, and had her-

... was spent in Spain, a long, [laughs] varied career with a lot of works involved.

He, he's another one of these men who also worked with, uh, Seror, uh, the, uh, the man who, uh, who made, uh, The House That Screamed, mainly because, uh, he's, he's most remembered for the melody that he wrote, that he wrote for Seror's television program, uh, uh, One, Two, Three, Re- uh, Respond Please, Answer Please.

This was his second and his last.

The other film that he made, which was also a cult classic and has been recommended to me, is The House That Screamed.

So I'm definitely going to check that out at some point.

Because if it's as good as this, then it's incredible.
