The Hooters

[upbeat music] Yeah.

And there go the Hooters, an American five-man rock band with their song, "And We Danced," which they performed at the famous 1985 Live Aid concert in Philadelphia, which just happened to be the Hooters' hometown.

And prior to that, The Hollies, who many thought might struggle after the departure of co-founder Graham Nash in 1968.

Fortunately, that was not the case.

And we'll get into the lyrics, too, because I think those are, to a certain extent, uplifting, too.

But Chris, I was shocked, shocked, dismayed that in talking about the melodica, you didn't shout out the Hooters, Eric Bazillion.

That is one of the most noteworthy uses of melodica that we've covered on this

podcast.

He's an amazing singer, songwriter, musician, and producer.

He's played with acts like Patti Smythe, members of the Hooters, which that was my first cassette tape, so pretty cool right there.

And he's currently touring with the band The Orchestra, featuring members of ELO.

It must have ruined your social life that the Hooters closed.

I, I always wanted to go there just one more time, but I never made it, 'cause I heard that they were closing them down.
