Okay, I just read that Manic Street Preachers are releasing a live album of the Holy Bible.

That's huge, right?

Wait, seriously.

The band would release three records before the mysterious disappearance of Richie Edwards, so they aspired to be the biggest band in the world.

Generation Terrorist, The Holy Bible, and Everything Must Go.

Edwards disappeared between the days of February 1st and 14th of 1995.

His Vauxhall car was found near Severn Bridge, parked and looked as though it had been there for a few days.

Like, OK Computer, Fables of the Reconstruction, The Holy Bible, Humbug, Absolution, Hit Me Hard and Soft are all a little bit darker and weirder than the two that came before.

I don't think one of those holds up.

I think Origin of Symmetry is c- clearly a darker and weirder album.

They're all a touch weirder.

They all kind of ...

I mean, if you look at, like, yeah, The Holy Bible and OK Computer and Humbug, they, they all focus on being cohesive and offering one, like, experience, right? It was when Arctic Monkeys went to the desert and made a sludgy rock album that didn't sound like their first two albums.

It's when R.E.M. went Southern Gothic.

So this was Everything Must Go.

The Holy Bible was the album before that.

I got into them in that in-between period.

I remember I went to see them probably three or four times in this year alone, The Mannix.
