The Hitchhiker

Yeah, it's a new

story like every week, you know, like when they made The Hitchhiker.

It wasn't The Hitcher, the movie.

It was The Hitchhiker, the series.

Yeah.

And it was a creepy hitchhiker would tell you another creepy ass story.

On Tuesday, I was joined by investigative journalist Bill Conroy to discuss the CIA's involvement in the war on drugs and the global implications of that participation.

Wednesday, I was joined by my fellow dude in the cheap seats, JG Michael, and we discussed the cable anthology show, The Hitchhiker, and the 1986 horror thriller, The Hitcher, starring C. Thomas Howell and the late Rutger Hauer.

Following the main show, we had a bit of a marathon watching a couple episodes of The Hitchhiker and then finishing the night off with The Hitcher.

Thursday, we were joined by Matt Hatchett and had a look back at the 1973 film, The Spook Who Sat by the Door.

Following the main show, we screened the Once banned film for all patrons and YouTube subscribers.

I watched so many scary movies from behind.

Zach, I watched The Hitchhiker from behind the couch the entire movie when I was like seven years old.

It gives a whole new meaning to eating french fries.

I like

I wrote a whole new script for The Hitcher, and I wasn't sure if we had watched The Hitcher b- before, and I couldn't find it in Patreon, so I don't think we've watched The Hitcher before.

So because of this massive error, we get a double feature of The Hitchhiker television series and The Hitcher, one of the most frightening movies I've ever seen.

[cheering] So again, if you wanna join us after the show, hell, even if you're listening to this audio version of this and wanna watch the replay with all of the pre- and post-movie conversations, become a patron.

You'll get access to the Champagne Room, like we had the other night, and join us for these movie night watch parties.

And if you can't make it live, you'll be able to watch it [chimes] on the replay.

Now, let's talk a little bit about The Hitcher 'cause the difference between The Hitcher and Hitchhiker.

The Hitchhiker was, like, a movie in the '50s, but it was a TV series in the '80s and early '90s that I watched.

The Hitcher was a movie that I watched with my dad when I was, like, 10.
