The Headies

So here's my problem.

We've spoken several times on this space about how horrible it is the way that um a lot of the headies things are handled right and so we've talked a lot about that and said that like we do not like the way that headies has been handled through the years and all the mistakes they've made and everything and so it's very interesting to be back again in this 2026 talking not just about like a postponed not just about like oh the event didn't go as planned but this time around they're moving it all the way to next year which means the

the year in consideration is still in the gutter and at the same time people bought tickets people bought flights people got visas people got accommodation so there's a lot

of things here that are not adding up So I want to hear from you guys about how you guys feel about this postponing of Heddy's event.

It cannot be one media company.

I'm with one singular owner that's responsible for doing this every year.

Secondly, I also think we need to kind of revise, unfortunately, and it's sad to say, what our expectations of the headies will be if it continues being set up the way it is.

Because I think we all have this frustration because we expect so much from... what is our longest running award show or award ceremony.

Mm.

Which Wizkid song won Song of the Year at the Headies in 2015?

2015.

Jesus, damn.

Yeah, but like the main one.

Main one was Get Squared.

I think they swept the Headies that year- Fair ... off that, like, run.

Yeah, because Game Over came out in 2007, if I'm correct.
