Um, and his second one, too, the Bly Manor one, that was re- It's that kind of spooky that I really like.

And I'm okay with the jump scares and the whatnot, but, but I even got it down to w- I, I watched so much of his stuff that he actually, as a director, he kinda telegraphs when the scares are really gonna happen, so I got to relax a little bit.

[laughs] 'Cause I could tell when like, say, a camera's shooting down the corridor and then it pans away, and I'm like, "Uh-oh, he's gonna pan back.

I feel like Fall of the House of Usher was probably one where you're kind of bouncing around a little bit more, but...

The rest are a lot in one space, right? You're either at the funeral home or the Hill House or Bly Manor.

So I just, it feels fresh, feels really fresh to me and good.

who might be one of the more divisive figures on TV Dudes.

Because I remember back when I had first joined up, I think one of the earlier things we had watched was Midnight Mass, and then at that point he had done Bly Manor.

Yeah, so he'd done Hill House and Bly Manor.

Which I really

liked both of those, though they are, they're spooky British ghost story kind of feeling.

Yeah, I liked Hill House more than...

Hill House was scarier than Bly Manor.

Handsome as hell.

Just different expectations

There's a lot about it I adore, but there are these weird little appendages that grow out of it that don't really go anywhere.

And then I think Bly Manor is bumpy, but I, I love it-
